Materials to set up:
  • Pencils, white lap boards, markers and erasers, dictionaries, 
  • materials for children's activities
  • guitar
  • pictures for He's Got the whole world in his hands
  • Worksheets :   Where do you live? Lifeprints Book 2 page 10 (application), abbreviations for states: Lifeprints book 2 page 149, 152 (streets),BVIU 14,15 - "Make"

 
Whole group:
Prayer - Solicit contributions as you write three or more items for each part of the prayer.
Praise example: "Dear Heavenly Father, You are holy, You are almighty, You are merciful"  (righteous, living, near, great, faithful, forgiving, the most high, our protector, our provider)

Thanks example: "We thank you for restoring Louis to health. We thank you for this beautiful weather. We thank you for providing for our needs."

Petition example: "We ask that you help us to learn from each other. We pray for the health of Beatrice's mother. We pray for peace."

After writing, use the listed items as you pray in simple English. 
End the prayer with "We praise You, we thank You, and we ask You in Jesus' name. Amen."

Beginner level:
Vocabulary:

1.Vocabulary exercise:  review: Last one standing - Do alphabet in order, do ordinal numbers in order
Listening activity: Have students identify "street" or "cityh/town" or ³s"state"or "country" as you say the following (increase speaking speed as you go)
 I live on Isabella. You live in Delmar. He lives in Maryland. Etc. 
 
2.Writing activity: Have students fill in Where do you live worksheet. Be careful of "at"  etc.
 
3.Speaking activity: Have students use the worksheet to role play:
Where do you live?  I live on...
 
Higher level: draw from the following materials that seem appropriate for your group (see key below)
