This lesson plan can be taken to several levels depending on the learners skills. The materials were homemade by Cathy Brady, so you have permission to reproduce them.
For absolute beginners it is a lesson on the following vocabulary words:

For more advanced students, words of position:
row column top bottom middle
and as a review of ordinal numbers
Teachers were also encouraged to model the order that adjectives were given (its short curly hair, not curly, short hair.
Students were broken into small groups to work with teachers on this vocabulary and then, as a group, played two games.
Small groups were given pictures, vocabulary lists in color and then black and white handouts for writing.
The whole group activity used larger pictures, and the vocabulary words mounted on foam core posters. A set of small pictures were cut apart and placed in a hat for drawing.
One person would draw a picture and describe it to the rest of the class, who would try to identify which picture it was on the poster. They could describe its location (second person on the top row, or row three, column five) or simply point to the person.
Another activity was to have people ask questions until they had enough information to identify the person.
