I introduced vocabulary for parts of the body using Austrailian worksheets from a pdf file I found at:

I also introduced words for age groups and ethnicity.
Many thanks for the volunteers who walked among the students to help out.
Then we had an activity where each student received a picture. I drew from a similar pool of pictures and gave a description of the person in the picture using vocabulary words. If the word in the description didn’t fit, the students sat down. After a few words, one student remained standing and their picture was a match. This is to prepare for the next lesson where, students will have to give descriptions.
The pictures came from google images. They are numbered on the back, so that the set can be numbered to the class size (up to 31) We ended the class by singing a long and hillarious version of the Hokey Pokey.
